As I am understanding this gel can give the relief for the some time and start again. But the patient want to get the long time relief from the pain, in other words want to finish the cause of pain.

My friend went to a medical clinic awhile back (he didn't give me an address but he did send me the link totalemedical.com) and he said they used Biofreeze. His face when he said it basically told me it was the best thing he's ever felt.

My mother's physical therapist is giving her bio freeze gel to use on her knee. How does the gel work? Does it just feel cold and the cold feeling is what causes the pain relief?

I haven't seen Biofreeze gel anywhere before. I might have to try this sometime in the future if I can find it. How different is this from other pain relieving products?
